The final of the Watt's in the Pot? Cooking Competition was a close-run event with all six of the finalists, Kurt Johnson, Chantal Martin, Nandipha Motsa, Velma Mullins, Nanziwe Mzuzu and Juliette Pilaar impressing our panel of judges. But there could only be one winner and it was Nandipha who was crowned top chef, with Juliette as runner-up. Congratulations to all who took part.
The judges were asked to consider the following criteria:

ease of preparation

visual appeal
Particiapants were encouraged to use products from our sponsor,
Crown National spices and marinades. The winner received
hampers, cash and vouchers, as well as a Instant Pot Duo Plus 6L
from our event sponsor Instant Pot.
The participants were also encouraged to use recipes which highlighted the use of energy efficient methods and/or energy efficient appliances such as insulation cookers like Wonderbag, solar cookers, slow cookers, mini ovens, gas, gas braai or induction cooking.
